Ein neues Jahr hat begonnen. Kaum aber wurde in der Silvesternacht die letzte Rakete abgefeuert und das letzte Sektglas geleert, hieß es für mich am Neujahrsmorgen: Ärmel hochkrempeln; allerdings erst nach dem obligatorischen Neujahrskonzertes der Philharmoniker. Das neue Jahr bringt spannende Projekte, die von langer Hand vorbereitet werden wollen. Wie beispielsweise meine erneute Assistenz beim Lehárfestival in Bad Ischl im Sommer. In diesem Jahr soll ich dort nicht nur die Produktion von Franz Lehárs Operette „Der Graf von Luxemburg“ betreuen, sondern auch noch einen Vortrag auf einem Symposion halten, das dieses Festival begleiten wird. Für das Jahresende ist gerade mit dem Kunstverein 68/11 in Köln ein Großprojekt zum Andenken an den Ausbruch des ersten Weltkriegs vor 100 Jahren in der Vorbereitung. Der Arbeitstitel lautet „Walzervisionen 1914“. Geplant ist eine Kunstperformance, die Literatur, Tanz und Musik miteinander verbindet, von den ersten bis zu den letzten Tagen der Menschheit. Daneben werden auch im Jahr 2014 wieder Sendungen für den Rundfunk geschrieben, Messen gesungen und Operetten besucht. Ich freue mich auf ein ereignisreiches Jahr.
